Most people have no idea about the politics of Britain in the 1930s. Churchill was one of the first politicians to actually give a pro-eugenics speech in Parliament. No one likes to talk about that much. However, this footage really blows my mind. A full blown NAZI state funeral in London.

Why is it blowing your mind? The only thing really displayed here is ignorance, pre-war, of what Nazi-era Germany was about. This is not a state funeral but is clearly an official event but one for the German ambassador held in the then regalia of the country he represented. The video even states that the man being buried wasn’t a nazi. In retrospect it all seems very wrong but hindsights a wonderful thing. “A full blown NAZI state funeral in London.”? you could get a job at Fox with that kind of misleading hyperbole.
