I’ve been wondering whether the violence in Iraq will be affected by what’s been going on in Iran.
This report just filed by Al Jazeera indicates that Iraqis expect the violence to go down as they blame the Iranian regime for fomenting unrest.

This isn’t a political blog (obviously.) But like everybody else, I cannot remain unaffected by the day to day of world events.
It’s bloody and violent in Iran. And now I’ve just seen the most gruesome video of a peaceful protestor shot by the Basij and bleeding out to her death on camera.

We’ve all been watching it unfold for days now. There’s a revolution in Iran. And it’s being twittered. And blogged. And there isn’t a thing the Iranian dictatorship seems to be able to do about it.
It’s fantastic.
